Belfry Flight

They only turn up after dark.

Six of them, flat black and easy to miss in daylight — until the light goes and the wings fill with the same cold green that runs up the path. Hang them across a porch ceiling, down a stairwell, over a doorway, and let people spot them one at a time.

The trick isn't the bats. It's the pause when someone realises how many there are.
